My users requested to restore a file which was stored and backup via NDMP from EMC NAS to TSM 5.3.22 and the TSM was hang and traceon told me not activities on the server log. . We tired to switch back ( Nov 06) monthly-end , yearly-end backup ( Dec 06) , but no luck.
We tried another folders/files on differnet / same Data mover / File system on NAS but they were ok So we suspend that could be the chance of the original file / directories problem? any chance ? agree , pls help.
We have use Point-In-Time , different Node name for daily/monthly/yearly and seems that we really experienced what I just described in above.
Any clues and any body experienced similar case ?
