Hi All,
a GPFS file system managed by HSM is mounted on our HPC cluster.
We are going to decommit this cluster and related GPFS file system.
We would know if exists a particular procedure to recall previously migrated files from tapes to a different filesystem (not GPFS file system) without use original GPFS file system like a recall-buffer (the amout of migrated files is about 1PB and GPFS file system is about 80TB...)
WARNING: For technical reason, the backup of migrated files doesn't exist and we can't backup them because resources are not enugh.
I know that it is a strange question but I would like to know your opinion.
Thanks in advance.
Mauro T.
