Monitoring agent for TSM in existing Tivoli Monitoring Server

    Hi

    I have installed TSM Agent in an existing Tivoli Monitoring server. The installation run as expected and the configuration and initialization of the agent didn't present any trouble.

    When I log in to TEP I can see a TSM Agent workspace but it's empty. Any of the default views and wokspaces are displayed.

    Is there a way to generate this default workspaces?

    After a little bit of research I've resolved this issue.

    I was missing some configuration steps. After installing the TSM monitoring agent it is necessary to reconfigure TEPS. It could be done with the following command.

    itmcmd config -A cq

    Once it is done you have to add TSM agent support to TEMS with the command

    itmcmd support -t <TEMS_ID> sk

    Finally you restart TEMS and TEPS and start the TSM Agent.

    This is well documented in V6.3 Documentation but this two steps are missing in the 6.2 document.
