Migration of old versions

Hi

can i set up migration of old versions of files?
for example, i create file backups every day. Can I leave monthly back-up versions on a disk to provide quick restore and migrate older back-up versions to a tape?

I don't think that's possible, because these backups are attached to the same management class...maybe you can use the cache option on disk storage pool...

You can sort of do it. Check out the MIGDelay setting for the storage pool in the manual. This lets you try to keep newer data in the pool for longer.
