Hello! Am I got it right that the migration is only one way direction. That is let's say the file "A" has migrated from disk to tape pool (without caching) and then file "A" is requested. Whether it will be ever moved back to disk pool ?
Thanks.

Hi

Once file A has migrated from one stgpool to another it will not move back unless you force it to with move nodedata command. So in the example you gave, if file A was required for a restore , it would restore from tape not go back to the diskpool first.

Cheers
