What's the full error message you see in the activity log?

I see no error in activity log.
I think I have to buy a new cleaning catridge.

If we are not seeing the error message(s) in the TSM Server activity log.

Are seeing the message on the tape library console?
Regardless of were you are seeing the message.
Once the cleaning tape expire, your only solution is to replace the cleaning tape.

I bought a new cleaning catridge, I will checkin this using this command or I will use different command?

checkin LIBVOL IBMLIB SEARCH=BULK STATUS=private waitt=0

Eject the old one and checkin the new cleaner:

checkin LIBVOL IBMLIB SEARCH=BULK STATUS=cleaner waitt=0
