Many TSM servers using remote TSM Library resources

ADSM.ORG Moderator
13 or so years ago, I have setup a remote (500 miles away) TSM server to backup its nodes to tape on another TSM server attached to a Library.

That was during the 5.x days.

I cannot seem to duplicate this on verson 7.1.x - the "client" is at 7.1.7 and the TSM server attached to library is at 7.1.9. This should not matter.

Can anyone point me to the right TSM publication to set this up? I know for one that the "client" is referenced as a node on the destination TSM server and that the devclass set on the "client" server is set as devclass=server.

Thanks Harry

Actually I found those links and followed the steps but this is a no-go situation.

In the 5.x days, it just took me one pass and all worked as expected. This time, the TSM servers are just within the same Data Center.

I am restarting from scratch again and see what is going on.
