I am managing a small TSM setup including a manual drive. I am experiencing some issues when performing tape operations. The tape is often ejected from the drive for no reason. For example, I just labelled a new tape, and after that the tape was ejected from the drive. Since this installation is on another location, and I have to ask for assistance to insert the tape again, this is quite annoying. Is there a way to disable the tape ejects?
The server is TSM 5.5.2.0 running on Windows 2003. The drive is a HP Ultrium 2 standalone. I am using the standard HP driver, since TSM SCSI driver fails to load.
