hello

I have a mixed library lto6 / lto7, I would like to reserve lto7 drive's just for cartridge lto7 and lto6 drive's only for lto6 tape ,
an idea ?

Been a while since I had mixed media in a single logical library, going a bit from memory here so could be off target.
Make sure you define the format of the drive to the device class. See

Then your storage pools would use LTO6 or LTO7 device class.

Another option is if your library supports logical libraries, create logical_liba with LTO6 drives and media logical_libb with LTO7. Then build the library's up though TSM.
