LTO tapes life span

Hi All,

My client as asked me the below question

""Are you able to tell me how many mounts per tape and when they were added to TSM – I’m trying to ascertain if media should be replaced due to age/use and if so in total how many individual tapes would require replacement in say for the next twelve months…?""

Can some one please help me with acceptable answer.. we are using LTO1 tapes.
One thing that I started taking care of this account just 4 months back and a admin schedule was set to delete the volhist -27

del volhist t=all todate=-27 , so I m pretty sure volumehistory won't help me here.

They say the lifespan of LTO1 is 200 entire reads or writes. But as everything mechanical, this depends largely on many other factors
