This one has me scratching my head...
One of our TSM server was complaining that it was not in compliance with the license terms. When I did a q license, it would show that we had 7 TDP for MS Exchange licenses in use and 6 TDP for MS Exchange licenses registered. This went on for a couple of months while the managers argued over who had to buy another TDP for MS Exchange license. Well, on 6/1 the TSM server suddenly stopped complaining about the licensing.
Now if I do a q lic I show 6 TDP MS Exch registered and 6 in use. Here the odd thing. If I do a q node, only 2 servers show that their platform is TDP for MS Exch. If I look at the filespaces (select node_name,filespace_type from filespaces where filespace_type='API:ExcData'), I see 10 different servers with filespace_type of API:ExcData.
Does anyone know why the server would suddenly become compliant with the licensing?
