Hi, I was using the ISC fine until a few days ago. Now I keep getting the following error whenever I try and look at server properties or anything else:
The administrative API encountered an internal error while processing the request. See the Administration Center section of the Problem Determination Guide for more information.
In the tsm log it shows:
ANR9999D smadmin.c(993): ThreadId <20> Failed to convert UTF-8 string to
server's code pagefor session 392(SNICHOLS).
ANR9999D ThreadId <20> issued message 9999 from:
ANR9999D ThreadId <20> 0x000000010184F524 outDiagf
ANR9999D ThreadId <20> 0x0000000101456420 SmAdminSession
ANR9999D ThreadId <20> 0x0000000101189110 DoAdminGeneral
ANR9999D ThreadId <20> 0x0000000101180004 smExecuteSession
ANR9999D ThreadId <20> 0x00000001000B1F18 SessionThread
ANR9999D ThreadId <20> 0x0000000100090128 StartThread
ANR9999D ThreadId <20> 0xFFFFFFFF7EB17C9C *UNKNOWN*
ANR0485W Session 392 for node SNICHOLS (DSMAPI) terminated - sufficient memory
is not available.
However there is plenty of memory on the server:
Memory: 8.0G real, 4.8G free, 2.1G swap in use, 15.9G swap free
Anybody had this problem before and could help me. I am running TSM 5.4 on Solaris 9.
Thanks,
Simon
