Hi!

i am running into problems having a "new" TEST-TSM Instance with the same name and ip that another "old" one had before.
This one was removed from the isc, but when i want to add the NEW one i get an error telling me to change the name of the instance.

is there a config file where i can remove the old entry?

Thanks!

I encountered the same problem and saw your post while searching for an answer. I opened a PMR with IBM and they had me delete the entry for the server in the tsmserver.xml file which is located in \program files\IBM\ISC\PortalServer\shared\app\dsm on windows. You must restart the ISC by either rebooting or following the procedures to stop/start the ISC after making the change to the file (I rebooted since this was a test server). After this I was able to add the server that I had previously deleted.
