Is Transfer data from between client and server encrypted by default?

Hi,

I know that there is an option for encryption DES or AES and i can use in OPT file with include.encryption
But by default is it encrypted or all data pass through clearly and we can sniff the traffic?

If you enable client-based encryption, it is encrypted by default. If you do not, then all data is transferred in clear.

There is an option in the dsm.opt/dsm.sys file to enable encryption and what level of encryption to use. Syntax and options can be found in the TSM Client manual.
