IRPStackSize and HSM

Hi

i have installed HSM 5.3.2 on a windows 2003 server with 300gb of data on it

when i rebooted server i could not run HSM and no-one could connect to shares over the network. when i look in the event log i get the error Event Type: Error

Description:

The server's configuration parameter "irpstacksize" is too small for the server to use a local device. Please increase the value of this parameter.



i have been into the registry and entered the irpstacksize value but this made no difference. any ideas!!!!!!!!!!!!



also i have another problem with hsm, has anyone migrated zip files?

when i tried it and clicked on the stub files i got an error saying the file was corrupt and it also reported that the stub file was the full size and not just 4k

hi thanks for quick reply

already tried this and it did not work. had to uninstall hsm to let users in

will try again out of hours might not have set level high enough on stack size
