Instaling LTO2 Library with Tivoli Storage Manager for Linux 5.1.6.1

I am trying to install LTO2 device class with TSM 5.1.6.1 for Linux RadHat 7.2 with supported kernel. I can not configure and install LTO2class device with correct format=ultrium2c. The message I received is "server mount media not possible" If I set up format=ultriumc ( I mean first generation LTO1) the library works prefectly ! So probably ultrium2c (LTO2) format is not supported? I was trying the same with 5.1.6.5 and 5.1.7 - without success. Anyone can help ???

Not to aska stupid question, but are you using the IBM-issued drivers or the RedHat drivers? I am running the same drives in Solaris8 and I had to use the IBM-issue device drivers for LTO2.

I was trying both of them IBM TSM drivers and system drivers but it is still problem with supporting LTO2 with TSM for Linux
