Increase archive pool for drm

Hi,

we have two TSM servers.
TSM2 just serves the copypool for TSM1 via virtual volumes.

The archive pool on TSM2 uses LTO3 tapes within a library.
Now we have bought a 2nd library with LTO4 drives.

We would like to use it for increasing space within the archivepool which has the virtual volumes from TSM1.

Is it possible to mix LTO3 and LTO4 volumes within the same pool when using different device classes?
Or would using a next pool be the betty solution?
Does the source TSM support next pools on the target TSM?

Hi,

because the 2nd Libr has a different devclass I cannot used it within the same pool.

For the archive pool on the target TSM I cann configure a next pool but does this really work and is supported?
