Those concepts only exist in SP, not SPP. Am I correct?
I don't have to use them in SPP. Correct?

Thanks!

I guess to be more specific those "terms" don't exist in SP+, but the concepts are there. Any backup product dictates a concept of who, what, where, and how long to create a backup "policy".

booman55,

Can you please elaborate these concepts or temrs in SP+ similar to management class, device class, domain policy?

Thanks a lot!

SP+ has SLA policies. An SLA policy will define where a backup is stored and how long it is retained. That's essentially what a SP policy does.
