HSM recall hanging when file is damaged

Hi all,
I noticed that when making a selective dsmrecall with a filelist, if it happens that due to a read error the file under recall is marked as damaged, the recall waits an indefinite amount of time for that file, and I am obliged to issue a dsmrm for letting the dsmrecall go ahead. It would be useful instead to have the recall on that file to fail, such that the subsequent files in the filelist can be processed without any manual (dsmrm) intervention. Is it possible?
Thanks,
Vincenzo

What client OS and which HSM level are you using?
If you should use a level lower than 5.5.2.x, then can you try to recreate this issue with this (5.5.2.x) level?
I am asking because if we should face a bug in dsmrecall here, we will fix it in 5.5.2 (and 6.1 of course).

OS is Scientific Linux CERN 4.5, client version is 6.1.0.2
Vincenzo
