HSM Non Use Days

Hi,

I am trying to establish HSM under AIX 4.3.3 and TSM 4.2.1.9 and AIX Client 4.2.1.23 I am trying to introduce different management classes to control to nonuse days on different directories within the HSM filesystem. I am asking for 30 days in the management class and have now just also updated the migtab file with 30 days as well. If I then run a dsmmigrate it will migrate files I have freshly created.



I have run dsmreconcile before trying to run this. From what I can see there is no candidate list created? in /etc/adsm/SpaceMan/



Has anyone got any ideas on how I can manage these files purely on a date basis.

Not sure if this is a silly question, but do you have the directories you want under HSM control listed in your inclexcl file, pointing to the HSM management class ?



eg.

INCLUDE /dir/under/hsm/control HSM_MC
