Hi there
Environment : TSM 8.1.4 and VMware 6.5, Windows and Linux VM
The idea is to spare a VM backup for a very long time for a TSM server which have to be discontinued.
So i succeeded in exporting an existing and valid VM backup via a command like :
export node NODEXXX filespace="filespace name" fsid=199 filedata=backupactive devclass=LTO volumenames="Cartridge-Label"
Then i suppressed the filespace on the server
Then i imported the filespace : The FS is created in TSM with another FSID
Then i tried using the TDP for V.E. or either a DSMC or DSM client to try to access something, but nothing is visible for this imported filespace ...
Do you have some experience about this or an idea about the right method ?
Thanks guys !
Pierre
