How to reset Admin Password (DSMADMC)

    Hi All ,

    I don't have the Admin password . How do i set a new password for it ? .

    I lost the password to my personal ID and have locked it in the process because of failed attempts. I have to recover it using the Admin ID .

    Thank you in advance .
    Note : It is a Windows Machine on which the TSM server runs .

    Not able to start the server in foreground . Getting this error . Please see the screenshot .

    That's the ID that owns the Spectrum Protect server database. The Windows admins don't have access to the database, only the instance owner.

    I logged in with the tsminst1 ID to the windows server and it worked . Thank you @marclant
