If a client session is cancelled from the backup server side while a restore is running on the client, can the restore be resumed so as to avoid recovering what was already restored up to that point? If so, how do you do this?
If you're running a backup (scheduled or manual), and the session is cancelled then once it's enabled, and you run a subsequent incremental, then, yes, it must walk the file system again, but it will ignore anything it previously backed up (assuming it's not changed) and only hit what's new or changed. Does the restore operation have a similar capability?
