how to close user session on tsm

i am new on tsm i want to know how to signout user on tsm through command

1. q session, then look for user session number
2. cancel session <session_number>

ok can you please also tell what is the proper way to close the window of console and command line windows because every time i close the window the message comes endnow option and forcely close what is the suitable way for the exit

If you open a console, you can only close it by 'force'. By 'force' I mean you will see your mentioned message. Enter 'quit' and see what happens. A console session is opened to monitor TSM operations.

You should open a TSM command line session if you intent to work with the TSM server. Use dsmadmc without the console switch (dsmadmc -console). Use instead dsmadmc -se=<TSM_server_name> or dsmadmc /tcpserveraddress=<dns_or_IP_address>.
