HELP w two nodes on one physical machine

Hello all, I am trying to figure out how to have two nodes on one single physical machine. We have an AIX server that I want to split-off the backups into two separate nodes in TSM. The backup on the one node is taking FOREVER these days and its just growing and growing in terms of size with no end in sight. How do I add another node to this server? We’re running servers 6.2.3 on AIX and this is an AIX server running 5.3. I’m hoping that I can gain some time, even tho they will be running sequentially, I will still exclude the dirs on one that the other is backingu up. Thanks in advance!

Add a second server stanza in the dsm.sys file and a second dsm.opt file for that server stanza. Point your daemons to use that dsm.opt file and you should be go
