From the 6.1.3.0 Admin guide....

When you add a volume, folder, or disk to the repository, the entire object is used
by Tivoli Storage Manager FastBack. In addition, when you add a disk or partition,
Tivoli Storage Manager FastBack reformats the disk or partition. All data is erased.
You cannot add a disk that exceeds 2 TB.

For a volume, the size should not exceed 16 TB.

- What is considered a "disk" vs a "volume" in FB terms? I have a 1TB SAN-attached LUN, and have assigned a drive letter "F". When I set that as the repository, it's listed in the FB Manager repository pool list, under file system, as "FOLDER." How do I create a repository of "DISK" instead, or better yet, "VOLUME?"

Even though my initial setup here is 1TB, my repository will be much larger. I'm doing 1TB to see how, then expand it. That said, it sounds like I need to setup "volume" which accommodates up to 16TB. How?

Trying to wrap my arms around this.
