Hi Pro's

I have moved a large amount of data from LTO4 tapes to LTO6 tapes (NDMP, NetappDump format).
The data that now exists on LTO6 tapes has a new copypool also exist on LTO6 tapes.

I now want to get rid of my old LTO4 copypool. Do I have to delete each volume one by one or is there another faster way to do this?

/C

The fastest way that I can think of ...
- Create a file, list all the volumes that are in the copy pool.

- Define a script that read the file and issue the delete volume command.
Or
- Define a macro that read the file and issue the delete volume command.

Good Luck,
Sias

you can delete the volumes at once if you select all volumes in the TSMManager

Thank you both!
I first had a thought before posting this that I had to create a script... I do have TSMManager but never use it. I now tried to delete a couple of volumes via the tool and it worked amazingly easy!
