Expand Storage Contairer Pool

Hello,
we have implemented IBM SP 8.1.3, making use of storage container pool. One of our storage pool is nearly full and I want to add one more directory. Should this directory be of the same size as the first directory that used to create initially the pool? The first dir is 2.1 TB and adding a second one of the same size will over and above of our needs. I just need around 1 TB

Hi Maria,

The 2nd and any subsequent container storage pool directories can be any size you wish dependant on your needs.

You will see the adjusted Storage Pools new size and utilization within both the OC and using the 'q stg' cmd on the cli.

If you need 1 extra TB today, you will probably need another 1 TB in 6 months to a year. May as well bite the bullet now.
