Exchange restore to different hardware

I have a test server (WIN2000) and the Exchange admins have loaded Exchange 5.5. The Organization and the site name are the same as the production server. The DSM.OPT file is modified to resemble the production server. When I click on the restore tab and then the show all button I get the following error.



"ACN125E: the specified database objects are not available on the specified adsm server."



There are no . (Periods) in our organization or site name. I have read where this can cause problems. TSM client is 1.1.0. The win2000 server name is different then the production and so is the Exchange servers name. Does it need to be the same as the production?

Well, you have to assign your node name(for TSM using) the same as your production machine in your dsm.opt in the nodename="your production machine's nodename". Try again.
