Have you tried rebooting to clear up the system and try the restore?

Are you doing a DR test? Or, recovering from a crash? I normally do a clean up of the LOG active and archive directories before the restore, or a remove DB routine prior to a restore.

Hello Moon-Buddy, Thank you for the reply...

We did a drop db and restarted and we were good to go...so far...almost done the restore. Thanks again.
