error while restoring a file

I am using TSM 5.2.3



While restoring a file getting error message : file currectly unavailable on server and another error is "storage volume "volume no." unaccessible"

any clue ?

check out if there no volume wich r "Unavailable" !!



when u try to restore the, do some

"q session session_number_assosciated f=d" and u should see the volume which TSM needed to restore the file!!



and check if there no read/write error on!

Run a q vol * acc=unav



You should find the volume that matches what you are looking for, and possibly other volumes that need to be either readwr or reado.
