I'm trying to add a EMC Celerra and I'm getting this failure:

define path server_2 naslibr1 srctype=datamover desttype=library device=c64t0l0

ANR1737E DEFINE PATH: Device name c64t0l0 specified is invalid.

And here's what it looks like from the EMC side:

Scsi Device Table

name addr type info

tape1 c64t0l0 tape IBM ULT3580-TD1 4561

ttape1 c80t0l0 tape IBM ULT3580-TD1 4561

jbox2 c80t0l1 jbox IBM 03584L32 409013000000011142 0☻

tttape1 c96t0l0 tape IBM ULT3580-TD1 4561

Up to this point I've been using the EMC "Configuring NDMP Backups with Celerra and IBM Tivoli Storage Manager" and it's worked pretty well...Only now I'm stumped.

Does anyone out there have any ideas? (And yes, I do have a PMR open, but they always take soooooo long!)

We have the same problem at this time. What was the PMR number and did you get a resolution?

We have determined (from IBM) that TSM is successfully logging in to the Celerra but the Celerra is not responding.

Help would be appreciated.

Probe this

define path server_2 drive_name srctype=datamover desttype=drive library=library_name device=c64t0l0

change drive_name for your drive name and library name for your library name

Same issue

Anyone fix this issue? Mine is with the same c64t0l0 also.
