A question about restoring the TSM database to new/other hardware.
We are running TSM 6.3.4 om Windows R2008R2 sp1.
On the new hardware I have installed TSM 6.3.4 and registerd the licenses.
On the old hardware I have created a sequential device class and performed a "backup db" to that device class and copied the file to the new hardware, along with volhist.dat en devcnfg.out
When I then run "dsmserv restore db" I get the error ""ANR1437E No device configuration files could be used.
whatever I try I cannot get past this error.
Any support or ideas would be appreciated.
