dsmcad (http port configuration (how to))

i am working in the HP-UX environment and have installed the 5.2.3 tsm client..



what is the syntax to start dsmcad using an HTTP Port other than 1581?



i.e. ..... or can i designate this port in dsm.sys?... if so, what is this syntax?

Hello,



for Unix clients V5R2 there is a TSM client system options file option "HTTPport". I am not familiar with HP-UX, but I guess, as long as you do not get in conflict with other applications residing ontop of your TCPIP stack you can state some different port than the default of 1581.
