dsmc produces ANS1114I Waiting for mount of offline media.

Hi



Every time i execute dsmc i get the "ANS1114I Waiting for mount of offline media." error.

TSM restries after the retry time and succeeds, but when doing 30 Oracle 7 datafiles it adds alot of time to the backup.

Q1 How to modify the retry time?

Q2 Is this normal behaviour?

Q3 Can i do anything to stop it wanting to mount a tape every time dsmc is executed?

I have asked a simple question - and i thought i would get an answer within a reasonable time - OBVIOUSLY NOT!!!
