How does one start backups on Windows nodes as a normal, non-Administrator user?
Under our current set-up, backups are initiated (from an external enterprise scheduler) as a user that is a member of the Administrators group. On Unix, we grant a specific user the right to run specific commands (e.g., ‘dsmc incr’) as root.
I’d like to grant the user that executes the Windows backups a more narrow set of specific rights — rights sufficient to run the backup, but short of full Administrator access. TIA.
