[SOLVED] dsmadmc terminal keys in linux

Is there a way to fix the key bindings in the terminal line interface of dsmadmc? It seems dsmadmc doesn't use termcap/terminfo or anything like it, which means that Backspace, Delete, Home, End etc. doesn't work correctly... If not, did anyone implement a wrapper using perhaps GNU readline?

solution

I found the solution myself - it's called rlwrap! See http://utopia.knoware.nl/~hlub/rlwrap/. I use it with the -a option, like this:

alias dsmadmc='rlwrap -a"Enter your password:" dsmadmc'
