dsmadmc & ISC login password

Hello!



Can someone help me changing the login password for dsmadmc and the new ISC-Console? I can't find documentation about that problem.

to change the password for a user in 'dsmadmc' issue the command "update admin <user> <password>"



To update a password in the ISC, click on the settings tab and then 'user and group mangement'

ISC is a websphere front-end to TSM. TSM does not know about ISC but ISC knows about TSM. ISC can control (modify) TSM but TSM can't control (modify) ISC.

To speak in leymans terms - No.

Reset the ISC accounts within the ISC interface.

DSMADMC is for TSM accounts only.



As Aaron suggested, ISC is a one way street to TSM from the outside. Acting in behalf of the old GUI. You have another year to transition to the command line using the current 5.2/5,3 transition GUI interface, as you will find out first hand the ISC will not perform to your liking.
