DR configuration

Hi all!
I try to create a plan for DR.
I thought I can use active data pools for DR, but DRM can't manage active data pools. I can't backup active data pool also, because backup stgpool command is for primary to copy pools only.
Is there some way to move only active data to offsite location?
I have 25 TB of VMware backups and I want to find a way to minimize the amount of the offsite data.

Environment:

TSM 7.1.1.0
Windows Server 2012 R2

Yes, you will have to do a BACKUP STGPOOL for that. If you only make a backup stgpool of your active data pool, then only the active data will be in your copy pool.

Actually It's not possible to backup active data storage pool, because it's not primary. Only primary to copy pool works.

Hi,

You can check your DRM with "query drmstatus". There must bee configured the pools that will be part of the DRM configuration.

Use the command "set drmactivedatastgpool" to say to DRM manage it.
