Domino TDP

I have installed this TDP and get "ACD5412W" which says the TSM API needs to be reinstalled. Has anyone else had this type of error ? and how was it fixed.
I found a post saying NODEname can only be 8 characters long, is this also correct.

Well if its saying that the API needs to be reinstalled, then its better to reinstall it. As far as node name being 8 chanracter only, this is not true at all. I have many nodes (for TDP for Domino) where the name is much larger.

API install

Thanks - I have reinstalled with no luck. I didn't reallt think the node would be limited to 8 characters.
Any other ideas, as I seem to going around in circles.

Can you provide some details on your OS platform, the version of TDP that you are trying to install and possibly the error mesages that you get during install. Can this be a 64 or 32 bit issue where your API is differnt then the TDP. Generally the TDP client have API installed with them. You if you remove the TSM b/A client API and then just install the TDP it should install the API iteself.
