The activity log show keeps showing theese rows:
...
ANR1021W Migration process 237 terminated for storage pool SPD_BACK - storage media inaccessible. (PROCESS: 237)
ANR1421W Read access denied for volume (19793) - volume is offline. (PROCESS: 243)
...

the disk storage pool SPD_BACK is composed of 4 disk volumes (san storage).
based on other's coworkers advice i've already deleted and re-created 2 of the disk volumes,
but the problem is not solved.

another thing: what's the number 19793 related?

TSM version is 6.2, platform Windows Server 2003.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi Andrea,
Is the TSM service running under the system account?
Post 'q vol stg=SPD_BACK'

After your responses I will ask you to do other tests.

Rudy

* NO, TSM Service is not running under the system account, it's running under ".\Administrator" account (we have a windows server cluster service).

the output of q vol stg=SPD_BACK is:
----------
16.13.58 10_101_12_44 : q vol stg=SPD_BACK
Volume Name Storage Device Estimated Pct Volume
Pool Name Class Name Capacity Util Status
------------------------ ----------- ---------- --------- ----- --------
E:\STGPOOL\BACKVOL1.DSM SPD_BACK DISK 100.0 G 100.0 On-Line
J:\STGPOOL\BACKVOL2.DSM SPD_BACK DISK 10.0 G 100.0 On-Line
J:\STGPOOL\BACKVOL3.DSM SPD_BACK DISK 90.0 G 100.0 On-Line
J:\STGPOOL\BACKVOL4.DSM SPD_BACK DISK 50.0 G 100.0 On-Line

Related to the question i asked in my first post about the "strange" 19793 number,
recently (yesterday i think) the following error messages started to appear:

(in one occasion i think theese errors followed an EXPIRATION process, but i'm not sure on this point)

thanks.
bye.

in my previous post i try to made a relation between numbers "19793" and "DSKV0000019783 for volid 19783";
in fact the two numbers are different, but similar (maybe).
can this be a only a fortuity?
again, any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.
