delete archives doesn't release space

Hello TSM Admins,

I have a full Volume (full VTL too). I deleted many archives with delete archive command. I wanted to archive another data, with smaller size than the deleted one. But I couldn't. I still have:


Normal File--> MYFILES ** Unsuccessful **
..............................
ANS1329S Server out of data storage space

Are there any actions to execute after launching the delete archive command to gain space?? I still have all my volume full even after deleting archives.

From TSM, run "expire inventory". If you have a VTL, a cleaning cycle normally is needed to run on the VTL device before space is cleared.
