Hello,
is there a way to delete all descriptions of all objects in the TSM database? Background is the following: We have two instances on the Tsm server, one for backup, one for archiving. When you open the gui for archiving, it takes forever (several hours) to select the files, because first all descriptions are sorted before they are displayed (According to IBM, this "feature" is intentional).
That's why I got into the habit of retrieve everything up with the console, but my substitute would like to work with the GUI.
If you don't have any descritions, the selection is opened within a few seconds. Now my idea was to delete all descriptions, because then you also see the paths in the overview, otherwise you see all descritions and then you have to expand into each one to see which path was archived.
Kind regards
Walter Reis
