Has anyone performed a tape library decomm in TSM ? Google is not much help. We moved to compete disk only solution and the old tape library needs to be removed. The only thing that is using it now is DB backup copy from disk to tape.

Decommission Tape Library

After you stop writing to tape and ready to stop using tape.
- delete all paths: HELP DELETE PATH
- delete all drives: HELP DELETE DRIVE
- delete the library: HELP DELETE LIBRARY
- power off the library
- remove it from the OS
- delete all paths: HELP DELETE PATH

It's not a requirement to remove the library. However, if you want your backups to succeed, you should update the copygroups to point to a different storage pool that is not removed.
