DB2 error TSM reason code: "106

Hello All
While taking backup of DB2 using TSM we facing following error
0001 SQL2033N An error occurred while accessing TSM during the processing of a
database utility. TSM reason code: "106"

is anybody face such kind of problem

I just figured this one out. First of all there was are several mistakes on the IBM instructions when you configure your DSMI_LOG settings. Then the db2inst1 user is unable to write to the dsierror.log that spawns from your DSMI_LOG directory. I had to chmod 777 dsierror.log to make this work.
 
Hi,

Reason code 106 generally points to a rights problem writing to the log file. Ensure that the log file (see ERRORLOGNAME for the API client used for TSM DB Backup) must belong to the TSM instance owner.
