    Hello,

we have tried to implement the image backup for some important linux clients (LVM image backup), with success.

However we need to find how much space is required on the TSM server, in order to store these image backup.
What is the proper formula to calculate the space needed by TSM, for storing the image backup?

    Thank you

    Maria

From a TSM server database storage perspective, it shouldn't be too much since I *think* images are usually stored as a single object within TSM. The concern would probably be more from the storage pool storage perspective.
