Clustered SQL backup

Hi Team,

We have a server with SQL that is clustered. lets call it sql010. When login to sql010, it will connect to either sql01a or sql01b.

previously TSM flashcopy have been setup on sql01a and backup have been ok. but now the cluster had swing to sql01b and causing the sql01a backup to fail and there is no backup in 01b.

What is the correct way to backup clustered servers as this case?
My plan is to setup the sql01b exactly as sql01a and use sql01a node to backup sql01b.

Use google, and look for 'spectrum protect sql cluster'

We use a cluster directory that holds all the config/log

Then we define a sql client scheduler as a service that follows the sql server. Works like a charm.

Can share the config files if you need them.
