Client 5.4.1 ANS1501E Trusted agent execution/owner permissions are invalid

Hi again guys....

This error happening when I try to execute dsmc with any user.

ANS1501E Trusted agent execution/owner permissions are invalid


Only the root can do the the backups

I try everthing, put 777 in all files. (the OS is solaris)

Help!!!

Hi guys I am facing same issue while I am opening Web baclient ,But it continues dsmcad process.
We are using TSM 5.5

You just woke up a 10 year old post and the original poster hasn't been on this forum since 2013 so I doubt he will offer any advice. You probably should have started a new thread.

At any rate, the errors are saying that the user that started dsmcad doesn't have permissions to write the errorlog. If errorlogname is not specified in dsm.sys, the errorlog ends up in the current directory: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21633869
