Apparently, if the ERROR_STATE for a volume is 'YES' then it can be cleared by resetting the access parameter to READWRITE, and we're assuming that one first ran an audit on the volume and is satisfied all is well.
Can the WRITE_ERRORS or READ_ERRORS also be set back to 0?
If you have a volume wherein either of these is > 0, and you audit the tape, and no problems are detected, is it possible to reset these? If so, is it advised?
