OK, all I have a question for you fastback fans out there. I want to build a central hub server at my corporate office. The problem is we have T1 lines to most of our sites. So I have a challenge in getting the initial push of data to my CO.

So I'm planning on buying a 4TB ESATA drive to plug into my laptop. My plan is to install central DR hub on my laptop and run the DR job locally. Once i have all the DR data, I want to manually copy this to my central DR server hosted at the corporate office. Then re-point my fastback servers to it, and let the incremental changes run.

Anyone had any experience in doing something like this?

Hey,

There is a fully-supported alternative I'm wondering whether you've considered - IBM support a manual repository movement procedure for instances exactly like this where the initial push to DR could prove troublesome. They call it 'full shipment' - take a look: https://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21432133
